Fresh crew joins the space station

A Soyuz spacecraft carrying a Russian, an American and a Dutchman docked at the International Space Station yesterday, restoring the permanent crew to six members for the first time since September.

Russian's Oleg Kononenko, Nasa's Don Pettit and the European Space Agency's Andre Kuipers blasted off from Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
