After travelling three billion miles and nine years to perform the first ever flyby visit of Pluto and also discovering another planet Earth, Nasa has earned the right to have a bit of fun.
In recent video from the International Space Station, astronaut Terry Virts shows exactly what happens when you place a dissolvable tablet inside a ball of water in zero gravity.
The delight on Mr Virts' face as he dissolves the tablet and then plays with the water bubble is pure pleasure to watch. Yet the star of the show is watching the bubble elegantly glide through the air, the dissolved tablet creating bubbles inside the water that make it purely mesmerising.
Nasa captured the footage suing a camera capable of recording four times the resolution of normal high-definition cameras (4K). Nasa is experimenting with these 4K cameras to see what value they could provide in capturing science data.Reuse content
