Probe gives new view of Jupiter
Mankind will get its most spectacular view of the biggest planet in our solar system on Wednesday, when Nasa's New Horizons probe speeds past Jupiter and sends back pictures of the gas giant.
New Horizons - the fastest spacecraft ever launched - left Florida about 13 months and 500 billion miles ago.
It will also beam back footage of the planet's four largest moons, including Europa, which is believed to offer the best chance for life anywhere in the Milky Way.
