Sheep rustlers' takeaway

Hundreds of Gabonese sheep owners who were planning a feast to mark the end of Ramadan have lost their sheep - which were to have been the main course. Bands of thieves in the southern Gabon town of Tchibanga stole sheep belonging to Muslims in the area

Police said they conducted a thorough search for the sheep but to no avail. - AP, Yaounde
