Black officers from the Metropolitan Police were guarding the Home Office, New Scotland Yard and the Downing Street as Home Secretary Jack Straw delivered the results of the Stephen Lawrence inquiry.

Our pictures were taken between 4pm and 5pm on Wednesday and at the same time yesterday.
