Police and Health and Safety officials were probing the cause of a wall collapse in Dundee yesterday which killed three construction workers at new student accommodation for the city's university.

The men - later named as Michael Shirkey, 49, Derek Kenneth, 40 and Christopher Tawse, 51, all from Dundee - were working on a wooden platform on top of the completed third floor of the four-storey building when a concrete block wall fell on top of them.
