Track of trouble

Pop impresario and rail buff Pete Waterman is claiming pounds 700,000 from Railtrack after one of his charter trains came off the rails. A track fault was blamed for the derailment of the diesel Dick Whittington at Primrose Hill, north-west London, in December.
