The alleged leader of the most powerful triad gang operating in Britain was arrested in Canada, police said last night. Wan Chun Chung, a former Hong Kong policeman, 42, was arrested at Toronto airport.

Scotland Yard want to question Wan about the shooting of Ying Kit Lam in London's Chinatown in September 1991. Wan was the 'Dragon Head', or leader, of the Wo On Lok Triad Society, Canadian police said.
