Alcohol death

A 22-year-old soldier died of alcoholic poisoning after consuming half a bottle of gin during a drinking contest, an inquest at Salisbury, Wiltshire, was told. The hearing into the death of Pte Richard Hodkinson, from Dyfed, was adjourned.
