Anthony Hester, winner of the 1993 Hanson Leadership Award, which provides training for young people in community sports leadership, demonstrating his canoeing skills in a swimming pool at Crystal Palace, south London. Mr Hester, 19, from Dorset, was chosen for his enthusiasm and voluntary work helping people with learning difficulties.
