Appeal rejected
Appeals by two boys, aged five and six, against a ruling that they could not apply for a council home were dismissed by the Court of Appeal, which upheld a High Court ruling that, in each case, Bexley council and Oldham council had been right to refuse to consider the boys' applications for a home. The cases were brought on the boys' behalf by their parents.
