BR admits error
Rescuers were sent to the wrong end of the Severn rail tunnel after 300 passengers were trapped in a collision between two trains, the Health and Safety Executive inquiry on the accident in Bristol was told. John Buxton, British Rail's safety director admitted a 'misunderstanding' over the location of the trains.
