Chess cliffhanger
The seventh game of the World Chess Championship eliminator between Michael Adams and Boris Gelfand was adjourned after 60 moves with Gelfand a pawn ahead. Adams, who had earlier missed clear chances to win the game, will go out of the competition if he loses when play is resumed today.
