WHO'S WHO at the Broadcasting Complaints Commission?

Chairman: Canon Peter Pilkington, a former parish priest, Eton teacher, headmaster of King's Canterbury (1975-86) and High Master of St Paul's (1986-92), before taking up the post.

Members of the Commission include: Tony Christopher, general secretary of the Inland Revenue Staff Federation (1976-80; Baroness (Brenda) Dean of Thornton-Le-Fylde, who led the adjudication into the Panorama programme; and Jane Leighton, a former Granada TV World in Action reporter. Robert Hargreaves, the secretary, is a former deputy director of programmes at the Independent Television Commission.
