Covent Garden celebrates the London premiere of classic Russian fable, performed by the Royal Ballet
Claire Livingstone, who plays a chick in a newly choreographed version of Renard, relaxes during rehearsals at the Royal Opera House. The ballet, set to music by Stravinsky, is based on a Russian fable about a fox who outwits a cock and his hens. First performed by Ballet Russe in 1922, Renard opens tonight as part of a triple bill with Tombeaux and A Month in the Country.
