Two people have been charged with murder after the body of a 20-year-old woman was found at her home with wounds on her neck.

Bethany Marie Hill, 20, of Hertford Road, Stratford-Upon-Avon, was found when police were called to her home on Wednesday evening. Paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene but she was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

Jack Williams, 20, of Redlands Crescent and Kayleigh Louise Woods, 22, of Hertford Way, both from Stratford-Upon-Avon, have been charged with murder and are due to appear at Leamington Magistrates Court on Monday 8 February.

Warwickshire have placed a scene guard at Ms Hill’s address while detectives are continuing to carry out a number of enquiries as part of the murder investigation.

A second area in Stratford-Upon-Avon, Brookfield Court, has also been secured for search by police and additional safer neighbourhood officers have been placed on patrol.

“Warwickshire Police offer their deepest condolences to Bethany's family who have asked for their privacy to be respected during this difficult time,” the force said in a statement, and urged anyone with further information to come forward.
