The body of a two-year-old child has been found at a home after police were called to the address, police said today.
An investigation has been launched after the child's body was found in Bicester, Oxfordshire, this morning, Thames Valley Police said.
The force said police were called to a residential address after a report received at 10.01am saying someone feared for the child's welfare.
When officers arrived, the body of a two-year-old was found at the address in Herald Way, Glory Farm.
Detective Chief Inspector Ian Hunter said: "Officers launched an investigation which is at a very early stage, so there is no further information that can be given at this time.
"However, we do not believe there is a risk posed to the wider community."
