Five men suffered stab and slash wounds in a brawl at a south-east London pub, police said today.

Two of the men suffered serious injuries during the fight at The Bird in Hand, in Bromley, shortly after 7pm yesterday.

Police said four men aged in their 30s were arrested and remain in custody over the disturbance.

Three of those injured have already been discharged from hospital, a spokesman said. The other two men suffered knife wounds to their chests and torsos, he added.
