'Garage raiders' killed in getaway crash

Two suspected burglars died when their getaway car crashed into railings today.
Police were alerted to a raid at a BP garage in Dollis Road, north west London, just after midnight.
Officers spotted a vehicle making off but lost sight of it.
Shortly afterwards, the car crashed into railings on the northbound A41, Scotland Yard said.
The driver and passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Post-mortems will take place and an inquest will open and adjourn in due course, police said.
The Directorate of Professional Standards is investigating, and the Independent Police Complaints Commission has been informed.'Garage raiders' killed in getaway crash
