A man and a woman will appear in court today accused of an armed robbery that left a shop worker fighting for his life.
Colin Thomas, 24, was blasted with a shotgun at point-blank range during the raid at a branch of Costco in Croydon, south London, on 17 September.
A gang of five masked raiders wearing hoods and scarves ran into the busy warehouse store and made off with a haul of jewellery after smashing glass cabinets.
Unemployed Yamani Clarke, 22, of Crowther Road, South Norwood, south London, has been charged with conspiracy to rob, robbery and possessing a gun.
Leigh Tipple, 27, of Dahomey Road, Tooting, south west London, has been charged with conspiracy to rob.
The pair were expected to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court today.
A third person, unemployed Yohan Clarke, 31, of no fixed address, has also been charged in connection with the robbery.
He will appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court at a date to be fixed next week charged with conspiracy to rob, robbery and possessing a gun.
Mr Thomas, of Peckham, south east London, remains in a "serious but stable" condition in hospital after suffering a serious gunshot wound to his torso.
Jewellery, including several Rolex watches and platinum and diamond rings, worth hundreds of thousands of pounds was stolen.
Police continue to hunt at at least two other suspects over the robbery at the Imperial Way store.
