Man in court over ex-army officer's murder
A man will appear in court today charged with the murder of a retired Army officer six years ago.
Christopher Puncheon-Docherty, formerly known as Christopher Nubbs, is charged with the murder of retired Lieutenant Colonel Riley Workman.
Mr Workman, 83, was shot in the chest as he answered his front door in the remote village of Furneux Pelham in Hertfordshire on January 7, 2004.
Puncheon-Docherty will appear at Stevenage Magistrates Court from 2pm.
