Man's body found at landfill site
Police sealed off a landfill site today after the discovery of a man's body.
West Mercia Police said a significant number of its officers were now at the facility in Redhill, Telford, Shropshire, near to the town's Granville Country Park.
A police spokesman said the body, which has yet to be identified, was found at the site shortly before 11.30am.
The spokesman added: "The scene has been sealed off as an investigation into the discovery of this body begins.
"At the present time we are unable to release any further information about this incident, but police are obviously keen to hear from anyone who believes they may have information that could help officers working on this investigation."
