Man's body found in block of flats
Police have launched a murder investigation after a man's body was found in a block of flats on Christmas Day.
Bedfordshire Police said Inderjit Singh, 39, was found in flats in Calshot Walk, Bedford, at 1.55am on Saturday.
A spokeswoman said a post mortem showed Mr Singh, from Bedford, died as a result of a stab wound.
Detective Chief Inspector Steve Collin said: "We are keen to hear from anybody in Calshot Walk or the nearby vicinity that may have seen this man in the area between 5pm on 24 December and 2am on 25 December.
"We know Inderjit had knocked on several doors in the area and would urge anyone who may have seen or answered their door to Inderjit or an Asian man in this location, to please contact the police."
A man was arrested in connection with Mr Singh's death and has since been released on bail.
