Teens to appear in court over rape of 12-year-old girl in east London

Two teenagers charged with the rape of a 12-year-old girl will appear in court today.

The 17-year-olds, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are due to appear at Thames Magistrates Court in Bow, east London.

The girl was targeted by three young men who took her to a garage area in Hibbert Road, Walthamstow, east London, at around 12.15am last Saturday.

She was raped by two of them, before calling a friend who came to help.
