Third suspect arrested over rape of 12-year-old in London
Two others have already been arrested
Another 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with the rape of a 12-year-old girl in north-east London.
Two others of the same age have already appeared at Thames Magistrates Court in Bow, east London, over the alleged attack around midnight last Saturday. One was remanded in custody and the other was given bail with conditions.
Both are due to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on August 21.
The girl was allegedly targeted by three young men who took her to a garage area in Hibbert Road, Walthamstow.
She is said to have been raped by two of them, before calling a friend who came to help.
The third youth was arrested today at a police station in east London, Scotland Yard said.
