Three charged over killing of teenagers
Three men were remanded in custody yesterday charged in connection with the fatal shooting of two Somali teenagers.
Yahya Harun, 20, Sharmake Abdulkadir, 20, and Fuad Awale, 23, are accused of conspiracy to murder following the attack in an alleyway at Fishermead council estate in Milton Keynes in May. Mohammed Abdi Farah, 19, and Amin Ahmed Ismail, 18, both died in the incident.
Mr Abdulkadir was also charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. A 17-year-old boy was released without charge.
Magistrates in Milton Keynes ordered the three men to reappear at Luton Crown Court on Monday.
Superintendent Rob Mason of Thames Valley Police said: "I still believe there are people who have crucial information, but who have not yet come forward.
"I hope the fact we have charged three people with this offence will encourage anyone who has been too afraid to come forward to find the courage to speak to the police."
