Three men are due to go on trial at the Old Bailey today accused of killing IT expert Ben Gardner after at night out on Halloween, last year.
Mr Gardner, 30, was punched and kicked after a hat was snatched from his girlfriend's head in Sutton, Surrey.
Daniel Ransom, 21, Ross Collender, 21, and Jordan Dixon, 18, all of Carshalton, Surrey, deny murder.
Sarah Davey, 41, of Sutton, denies assisting an offender.
