Two men were today being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder following a mass brawl at a New Year's Eve party.
The men were arrested after a fight broke out at the Summer of Love party at the Football Academy in Loughton, Essex.
One man reportedly suffered serious stab wounds in the incident and was in a serious condition in hospital.
A second man was injured and required hospital treatment.
Essex police said there were around 600 revellers at the event and the fight involved "a number of people".
During the New Year festivities, Essex police arrested so many people they filled every cell in the county.
A spokesman said: "It was certainly a very busy night and every cell space was taken."
