Two men were being questioned last night after a parcel bomb was sent to the headquarters of MI6 and a second was intercepted at a sorting office in London.

The suspects, aged 52 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of explosives offences on Friday morning at separate addresses in Caernarfon, north Wales, by officers from the Metropolitan and local police. Police were yesterday granted more time to question the men. Searches were being carried out at two addresses in Caernarfon.
