Wife in court over husband's murder

A 28-year-old woman was remanded in custody when she appeared in court today charged with the murder of her husband.
Janice Carter, 28, is accused of killing Kevin Carter, 30, at their flat in Sweyn Road, Cliftonville, Margate, Kent, on Friday.
Kent Police were called to the flat at 9.10pm and found the body of Mr Carter inside.
A post-mortem examination revealed he had died of stab wounds.
A police spokeswoman said Carter appeared at Margate Magistrates' Court where she was remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on October 28.
