Diver attacked by eel

A diver who was found unconscious on the banks of Loch Long after becoming separated from his companions had been attacked by a giant conger eel, police said. Gordon Bell, 32, of Glasgow, lost consciousness after surfacing too quickly when he escaped from the eel, and was treated in a decompression chamber. Conger eels can grow to 6ft to 8ft in length, and as thick as a man's leg.
