A novice diver who drowned on her first sea trip died as a result of lack of care, an inquest jury at Portsmouth decided. Paula Bacon, 23, of Bradwell-on-Sea, Essex, ripped off her face mask in a panic attack after becoming separated from her instructor at Chesil Cove, Portland, Dorset, on 9 April.
