Jim Muldoon, 35, of Ayr, Strathclyde, a 24-stone train driver sacked by British Rail for being too fat, told a resumed industrial tribunal into his claims for unfair dismissal and compensation that he turned sideways to get his 48-inch waist through a 14-inch engine door. The case was adjourned until 1 June.
