AN inquest jury returned a verdict of unlawful killing on Tracy Murphy, who died from carbon monoxide poisoning caused by a faulty fire in her rented flat last November. Thomas Beedie, of Cottingham, Humberside, the owner of the flat, and his wife, Jean, had earlier admitted failing to maintain the flat and were fined pounds 1,500 each with pounds 837 costs.
