Father accused
Frederick West, 52, of Gloucester, was remanded in police custody charged with murdering his daughter Heather, 16, who went missing in 1987. Gloucester magistrates were told that police were seeking a three-day remand to allow inquiries to continue. Mr West's wife, Rosemary, was released on police bail.
