Heath's arms
Sir Edward Heath announced that he was delighted with his personal coat of arms, commissioned after his appointment as a Knight of the Garter in 1992. The emblem, which cost pounds 2,000, represents his private and public life, from yachting and music to his European triumphs and premiership. It is green, to personify 'Heath'.
