40 firefighters tackle London blaze
Around 40 firefighters put out a blaze at a warehouse in north London, emergency services said today.
Crews were called to the single-storey building on an industrial estate in Jeffreys Road near Enfield, following an alert at 7.37am.
The blaze was extinguished by midday and crews left the scene shortly afterwards, the LFB said.
A spokesman said the building had been "severely damaged", but the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
Residents were no longer being advised to stay inside.
