Briefly: Yard called in over pounds 2.6m Somalia theft
SCOTLAND Yard officers fly to Somalia tomorrow to investigate the theft of dollars 3.9m (pounds 2.6m) in cash from the United Nations compound in Mogadishu.
The money, in dollars 100 bills, was in a filing cabinet stolen from the compound in April. The Yard team was sent after the UN asked for help.
