British student dies after ski chalet fall
A British gap-year student fell to his death after attempting to leap between chalet rooftops in the French Alpine ski resort of Courchevel.
Edward DeNunzio, 18, fell 16ft from the roof in the early hours of Saturday. The trainee ski instructor, from Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, had been out with a friend, who escaped unharmed.
His father, former Asda chief executive Tony DeNunzio, said family members were struggling to come to terms with his death.
