Do you know this woman? Appeal for help to identify patient with no memory of personal details

Gwent Police say the unknown woman went into A&E this morning with cash but nothing else

Can you help to identify this woman?

She went into A&E at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, Wales, in the early hours of this morning with no identification documents and no recollection of how she got there.

The woman, described as between 60 and 70 years old and 5ft 4in tall, cannot remember any of her personal details.

She came into the hospital just after midnight, displaying a West Country accent and is believed to be “physically fit and healthly,” Gwent Police said.

She is also described as being of a large build and was “wearing a denim skirt, purple cardigan and a pink and white striped top.”

The force added: “She was carrying a black handbag with a purse and cash inside it but nothing else.”

Anyone with information can call Gwent Police on 101 and quote log number 10 of 7 August 2014.
