The lavish ship, which has 10 restaurants and the capacity to hold 3,600 passengers, will be named by the Duchess of Cambridge in a traditional ceremony in Southampton today.
Singer Natasha Bedingfield and West End star Kerry Ellis will be performing at the event, along with Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Portsmouth Band and The Pipe Band of 1 Battalion Irish Guards.
The cruise liner arrived in Southampton earlier this week and is a new generation of ship, with special features that include a glass-bottomed walkway, the largest pastry shop at sea, and the Princess Live! television studio.
The ship's christening will be the Duchess' last public engagement before she is due to give birth to her first child.
