British tourist found dead in Ibiza resort town
Anwaar Lahrichi-Greenwood had been missing since leaving a party early on Saturday morning
A British tourist found dead in Ibiza has been named as London business consultant Anwaar Lahrichi-Greenwood.
The 24-year-old's body was discovered floating near San Antonio's port on Sunday afternoon.
He had been reported missing after leaving a party in the resort town during the early hours of Saturday morning.
A friend told police she had last seen him at around 4am.
The cause of death has not yet been confirmed, with the post-mortem expected to take place on Monday.
His sister Lula paid tribute to her “gentle” brother. “I feel so dead inside knowing I'll never see you again,” she wrote.
“Knowing you went on holiday and died in the sea alone... I tried to find you with all my power my love.
“My bro bro, my best friend. You were the best brother and you made me feel important and special.”
She had appealed for information on Mr Lahrichi-Greenwood’s disappearance before his body was discovered.
“If anyone is in Ibiza at the moment (San Antonio) or has seen or is with my brother Anwaar please contact as he's been missing since 3am leaving a party," she wrote in an earlier message.
It marks the third British death in the Ibizan resort of San Antonio in the past few weeks.
Jack McDonnell, 22, from the West Midlands town of Salford, died on 20 July after collapsing in the street.
Two days earlier a seasonal worker named as Birmingham-born Harry Kingsland, 21, was killed in an altercation at a flat in the resort.
Mitchell Loveridge, also 21 and from Llwynypia in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, was arrested and remanded in custody after appearing in court.
