The furniture chain Ikea is recalling thousands of children's beds over fears they could lead to laceration injuries.
The announcement follows seven reported cases of a metal rod breaking and exposing sharp edges on certain batches of two different kinds of the company's beds.
A statement from the company said that people "should immediately stop using the recalled 'Kritter' and 'Sniglar' junior beds and contact IKEA to receive a free repair kit". They may also be offered a refund.
The UK is among 17 countries where customers could be affected. However, the company underlined that there have been no reports so far of any injuries.Reuse content
