While many people in London were confined to their offices today, some took advantage of the warm weather by throwing themselves down a huge yellow water slide.

Fun-seekers used blow-up rings to slide down the 100-meter inflatable, which was set up next to King’s Cross station. The slide will be open for its final day tomorrow.

‘Rise & Slide’ is part of the ‘Be a Daybreaker’ campaign from Lipton Ice Tea, which encourages Londoners to break from their normal daily routine.

People have been posting images and comments about the slide on Twitter throughout the day.

Chloe Musgrave, a marketing account manager, said: "Amazing 100m inflatable water slide at Kings Cross earlier."

The campaign is also offering people a chance to win tickets to a range of events including a morning river cruise and a sunrise cinema screening at the Queen of Hoxton bar in east London.
