Newborn baby boy dies in crash on M6

An 11-day-old baby boy died after a car crash on the M6 motorway in Staffordshire over the weekend.

His mother and two other children in the car were taken to hospital with minor injuries, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

The crash took place on the southbound carriageway on Sunday afternoon. A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
