QC criticised over Andrade sex abuse case

The husband of Frances Andrade, the violinist who killed herself after giving evidence against a choirmaster who indecently assaulted her, says she was devas- tated at being called a liar by a female defence barrister.

Levine Andrade said his wife "found it amazing" that a woman "could do a job like that". He said she was "tipped over the edge" by her court experience, when she was cross-examined by Kate Blackwell QC.
