Big One Rollercoaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Richard Rodriguez must have a strong stomach. The American rollercoaster enthusiast announced yesterday that he'd be attempting to ride the Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach for 102 days – from 31 May to mid-September.

It's his attempt to beat a world record for consecutive rollercoaster riding that he's already smashed a number of times, including previous stints on the Pleasure Beach's Big Dipper as well as the Big One. For those wishing to avoid EurosJubilympics, your best bet might be joining him on the 213ft drop – 102 one-day passes come in at just £2,700.
