Homes grant cut
THE average government grant for homes built by housing associations will be cut from 62 per cent this year to 58 per cent next, David Curry, the Minister for Housing, said. The National Federation of Housing Associations said it would push up rents for new housing association homes to a level 30 per cent higher than last year's.
