Hospital criticised
A coroner criticised King's College hospital, London, after the death of a young woman who spent 20 hours on a trolley in the casualty department with acute sickle cell anaemia. The Southwark coroner told King's to prepare guidelines, end casualty queues, and review haematologists' involvement.
