Inmates at Ford Open Prison, West Sussex, rehearsing their 40-minute mini-opera What's the Time Please, Anyone? with a singing teacher, Tim Yealland (second from right.) It was given its premiere yesterday in front of an audience of 50 fellow prisoners and staff. Dealing with the emotions aroused by imprisonment, it is the result of a week-long skills workshop for 20 inmates run by the Glyndebourne Education Unit
